After moving its offices several times since 2014, Kambo Energy Group (KEG) was motivated to find a forever home that demonstrated the company’s corporate culture and offered employees a place where they would enjoy coming to work. In February 2019, KEG leased a 7,750sf space on the first floor of the United Kingdom Building on Granville Street, situated in an accessible area within downtown Vancouver.
Fusion Projects (project manager) and Suki Creative Studio (interior designer) worked with KEG on the tenant improvement for the new location. KEG’s electrical contracting division, Kambo Electric, was responsible for completing all electrical rough in’s, electrical finishing, and LED lighting installations including ASHRAE lighting controls; fire alarm, and data systems; as well as all emergency lighting.
While the overall tenant improvement took approximately three months, the electrical contracting portion was completed within several weeks by two certified Kambo electricians. Kambo Electric’s team also worked closely with Fusion and Suki to ensure smooth operations and clear communications on the project.
Kambo Energy Group (KEG) is a social enterprise that delivers turn-key energy solutions for commercial buildings and residential communities.
